Ryan Hudzik

piano, Voice

Ryan (he/him/his) is a teacher, pianist, music director, actor, and singer based in New York City. He holds a BFA in Theatre with a Double Major in Spanish from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied at the Experimental Theatre Wing, and New Studio on Broadway respectively.

 

Ryan is a card-carrying member of the Actors Equity Association and has received a BroadwayWorld Award nomination for “Best Performance in an Off-Broadway Musical” for his work in “The Parts I Keep Inside.” He spent the five previous years performing as an Improv Pianist and Featured Cast Member in the Improvised Musical “Eight is Never Enough” at the Broadway Comedy Club.

 

As a teacher, Ryan believes in learning the rules so that they can eventually be broken. His approach to the work exists as a combination of classical elements, as well as a somatic based investigation of music. Ryan is an Adjunct Professor of Voice at the Experimental Theatre Wing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
